DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO SHOP?

We do request that you make an appointment for our brides and bridal parties as we want to be sure that you have a fitting room, stylist, and bridal suite reserved for you and your guests. Walk-ins are always welcome to browse our accessories or pop in to see what's new in store at any time!

 

HOW LONG ARE APPOINTMENT TIMES?

Our bridal appointments last for about 90 minutes while bridal party appointments last about 60 minutes. Tuxedos, Alterations and Try & Pick-ups typically take about 30 minutes. While we do have set time slots, we never want you to feel rushed in any way! 

 

CAN I BRING GUESTS WITH ME?

Of course! Our bridal suites are intimate and allow space for up to four guests. When confirming appointments we'll be sure to ask how many guests will be accompanying you to ensure we've reserved an appropriately sized space. With advanced notice, we may be able to accommodate larger parties.

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING AN APPOINTMENT?

During appointments, we pair you with a stylist who will help you find, get dressed, and fitted into the dresses you want to try. We don't have a limit on how many dresses you can try - as many as time allows! You and your guests may ask your stylist any questions you have, and do be sure to ask to add on accessories to complete your bridal look!  Once you find your dream dress, we take your measurements and walk you through the ordering process. 

For Try & Pick-up appointments, plan to try on your dress and take it home for safe keeping! For fittings, you'll bring your dress (if we are unable to keep in storage) and work one on one with a seamstress who will recommend and pin the dress to achieve the fit you desire. 

 

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

It's always helpful for our stylist to see any visuals of what you were hoping to try on. Our website is updated with our current stock, so feel free to ask about particular style numbers. We also love seeing Pinterest boards! 

For first appointments, we recommend bringing your own undergarments to try on the dresses. For fittings, please plan to bring the undergarments you intend to wear on your big day as well as the shoes (or shoes with similar heel height) you wish to wear. 

 

WHAT'S YOUR PRICE RANGE?

Prices range by designer, typically running from $1,000 - $3,000. But, we always have promotions and events going on, as well as an excellent selection of off-the-rack styles!

 

WHAT SIZES DO YOU CARRY?

Wedding dress samples range in sizes from 6 to 28, so it's always helpful to have a stylist help fit the dresses. Bridal Party dress samples range from size 2 to 22. 

Unfortunately, we do not have full tuxedos or suits available to try on in our store.

 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO SHOP FOR A GOWN?

We recommend starting your search for a wedding dress at about a year before your wedding date. Our dresses are all samples, meaning all of the styles we carry are made to order. Once you "say yes to the dress," we take measurements to order you the proper size and give you the available color options. The order process can then take 3 to 6 months for delivery, and we recommend allowing another 2 to 3 months for alterations.

If you're strapped for time, no worries! We're always able to help brides with a short timeline. Rush delivery may be an option depending on the style of dress, and our off-the-rack dresses are full of ready-to-wear styles at discounted prices.

Bridal party dresses follow a similar process, taking up to four months to arrive.

We're located in downtown Columbia, MD in the Snowdon River Parkway Plaza just off of Oakland Mills Road. Our boutique faces Snowdon River Parkway - just drive straight back and take a right at the end of the plaza, you'll find us located right next to Ledo Pizza.
